Join The Leather Workshop at the Pretoria Boeremark for a hands-on leathercraft experience where you’ll create your own handcrafted piece from start to finish. Choose between making a durable leather apron, an A5 notebook with a leather sleeve, or a classic leather pencil bag.
This beginner-friendly workshop is fully guided and designed for anyone who wants to work with quality leather and create something practical and long-lasting.
All materials and use of tools are included, along with one cappuccino or hot chocolate per person — so you can relax, craft, and enjoy the experience.

1. Bookings & Payments
All bookings for The Leather Workshop must be confirmed with payment in advance. A booking is only secured once payment has been received.
2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled workshop will be regarded as late cancellations.

Late cancellations will result in a 50% cancellation fee.

The remaining 50% may be refunded or credited at the discretion of The Leather Workshop.

No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or failure to notify The Leather Workshop of a cancellation.

The Leather Workshop reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3. Photography & Videography

The Leather Workshop reserves the right to take photographs and/or video recordings during workshops.

By attending the workshop, participants grant permission for these images or videos to be used for marketing, promotional, social media, website, and advertising purposes, without compensation.

Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must notify The Leather Workshop in writing prior to the workshop.
4. Participation & Safety

Participants acknowledge that leatherworking involves the use of tools and equipment that may pose a risk of injury if not used correctly.

All participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the workshop facilitator.
5. Indemnity & Liability

Participation in The Leather Workshop is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

The participant hereby indemnifies and holds harmless The Leather Workshop, its owners, facilitators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the workshop.

The Leather Workshop shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or personal property during or as a result of attending the workshop.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and/or attending a workshop at The Leather Workshop, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking Policy and Indemnity Agreement.
